Evelyn, Two Months Old

My little baby, all grown up.  😉

We spent the morning of this most auspicious day getting the garden ready to plant.  We worked in teams, half of us pulling large and stubborn weeds out of the beds…

…and the other half of us hauling Magical Cow Dirt and topping off the beds.

Look!  It’s happy to see us.

It was a long morning’s work, but we’re all ready to put up the trellises and plant our veggies!  ‘Course, Evie slept through the whole thing.

Because that’s how two month olds roll.

About Jennie Cooper

I'm the mother of eight children, the wife of a retired soldier, and a newly minted farmer. I spend my days fairly productively, home educating our children, raising large quantities of food for several families, and volunteering in our community. I read entire novels a page at a time in the comfort of my bathroom. I tell people I'm Catholic just because they find it so shocking. I think there's nothing so exciting as a thunderstorm coming in. It doesn't bother me at all that my dog barks outside my bedroom window all night. And I rather enjoy being 40. I didn't think I would, but 40 is pretty good.

Awwwww! Hey, I just bought an Earthwise 8.5 amp electric tiller from Amazon for $100 to do the garden work this year! I’ll let you know how it works after I use it tomorrow, but I’ve read that it works really well even on tough soil. Just in case you want some extra help next year when it’s time to garden again 🙂

I love to see all of those kids! Beautiful and grown up 🙂

I wasn’t ignoring your suggestion to call, by the way, but I got busy visiting what with Sandie up for the week. But I WILL call you this coming week 🙂

    Love you lots!
