Pretty is my knitting project, which is another sweater, this time for Penelope, but she won’t get it till Christmas. I will be taking it to the fair, though. I’m a bit farther along than when I took this photo.
Happy is what this baby makes me. I rode along as escort to a doctor appointment yesterday, and the nurse said, “I hope this doesn’t sound strange, but I can tell you don’t just love your kids; you’re in love with them.” So true! The photo is blurry, but I love those cheeks. 🙂
Funny is this possibly-already-posted photo of Tommy. I’d purchased a bunch of these balls to put under the tarps on our chicken crates, hoping they’d help keep the rain from pooling. They didn’t, possibly because some cold weather caused all the balls to shrink a lot, but the children had a blast playing with them all. The rest of the kids are behind us, playing monkey-in-the-middle.
Real is me, milking my cow. She’s the only one in milk right now, though Daisy is due any time. By the end of the summer, we’ll have three milkers. Which is great, because we should also have a bunch of hungry piglets by then, too. 🙂 Photo by Delaney.
